I just wanted to send you a note of thanks and encouragement for being part of the most exciting paradigm shifts in our lifetime. And for your continued patience with the delays in our ground breaking and pilot install program.
Not very often does one have the chance to be part of the beginning of something so huge and profound. Our purpose of empowering the individual to create their own renewable energy from the sun in an affordable way has so many wonderful implications. Economic, social, national and global.
I have been with Citizenre almost from the beginning, a year and a half ago. We have had delays, we have enhanced our offer. I have grown and learned a tremendous amount in the process.
What I want to share with you is that there are indications that we may have our second phase of funding coming very soon. We have a number of avenues we are pursuing, but one in particular seems to be rising to the top and it is the perfect fit. The story could not be more spectacular even if a Hollywood script writer was crafting the story.
This time we have had to get our skills, knowledge and systems in place to handle the coming large wave of interest… has been perfect. I know in my heart, this is going to happen. I also know it is going to happen much, much faster and bigger than you can imagine. So get ready now. If you have been procrastinating with your Associate test… get it done now. If you have been sitting on the fence… get ready to get pushed off for a very fun ride. If you are actively marketing your business keep up the good work. Your time will be well worth your efforts on many levels!
If you would like to get a third party confirmation of what is going on, please listen to the latest national conference call with Rob Styler and Eco Andrew Perry. It will blow you away. You can find the recording in your back office resources section, within the next day or two. It will be dated 7/27/08.
Please do not get too excited about this. The money is not in the bank yet, and until it is, the fireworks will not be launched. This is also not the only funding source we are pursuing but it may prove to be the one that gets our horse out of the gate in a profound and much needed way.
But I am here to tell you…. get ready… the Enurgy Shift is happening!
We also have some great news from congress….

For more than a year, Congress has attempted to pass a bill to extend incentives for energy efficiency and renewable energy like solar but members have been unable to agree on how to pay for the bill.
Last night, Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) introduced a new version, “The Jobs, Energy, Families and Disaster Relief Act of 2008,” S.3335, aimed at resolving differences. The bill is expected to be voted on in the Senate as early as next Tuesday, July 29. Extension of the solar tax credits has come up for a vote in the Senate seven times and in the House five times during the 110th Congress and each time has failed to progress.
Baucus stated, “This bill will create jobs, jump-start alternative energy, and ease financial burdens for American families, and Congress needs to act on it now. With gasoline over four dollars a gallon and a lot of folks needing work, there’s a big need for this tax relief right away.”
Passing an eight-year extension of the solar tax credits is critical for our nation’s energy security and economy.
On July 23, 51 governors (all except Georgia) signed a letter to Congressional leadership calling for a long-term extension of the renewable energy tax credits, including solar. The governors cited the important role renewable energy plays in our nation’s energy security and tax incentives will promote a clean, secure, and affordable energy to fuel America’s future.

Why are you here and what attracted you to Citizenre?
What makes Citizenre different and yet universal?
Fun?… Shared values?… Profit?… Purpose?
This is a preview of the video “Naturally Successful” featuring internationally recognized business experts touting green entrepreneurship as a sustainable version of the dot com phenomenon.
I have heard of Bruce Lipton for years, and the amazing work he has been doing. Below are video excerpts from presentations he did a few years ago. He presents cutting edge scientific information that may change your life, or at least change your perception of it, or BOTH. He presents the facts as science is currently revealing that dispel the last 50 years of dogma that genes determine our life. In fact there never was any scientific studies performed that proved that dogma… it just fit the common belief systems and was just repeated over and over until people thought it was fact.
This is a seven part series. At the end are three more videos by a friend of Lipton, Rob Williams. He talks about PSYCH-K, and then explains why PSYCH-K works. This takes the facts of Bruce Liptons presentation and puts them into action by practial and successfull method changing and mastering our belief systems and habitual thinking, that in turn creates the joyous and vibrant health we all want. I am looking forward to learn much, much more about this.
“In the face of global crises in health, home and heart, advances in science are creating a genuine revolution in thought and understanding, one so radical that it can change the world. New insights offered in cell biology, epigenetics and physics reveal we are not victims of our genes but instead have unlimited capacity to live a life overflowing with peace, happiness and love. In this eye-opening session, renowned research scientist Dr. Bruce Lipton brings you his fully illustrated and award-winning medical school presentation on the convergence of science and spirituality. Through an integration of the elements of Body-Mind-Spirit, “new-edge” science illuminates the path to self-empowerment and provides a glimpse of our positive future and a way to get there from here.”
This is a very passionate video by Benjamin Zander
He has two infectious passions: classical music, and helping us all realize our untapped love for it — and by extension, our untapped love for all new possibilities, new experiences, new connections. The video may be long but don’t miss the last few minutes. He delivers a wonderful message that we can all relate to.
When looking at the looming price of oil, topping $142 a barrel today (7/8/08) and forcasts of $12 - $15 per gallon by 2010 you can’t help but look for alternative and renewable sources of energy. What if it turned out that energy efficiency and conservation was the single biggest solution? Could the campaign for “Drill more, Pay less” be too little, too late for solving our energy crisis and peak oil?
This article by Amory B. Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute answers these questions with a litany of facts to clear the air and confusion about how to look at solving our energy needs and keep the environment from further going south.
Peace,
Bruce

Using smarter technologies, more brains and less money to wring more work from less delivered energy–what energy experts call “end-use efficiency”–is the largest, cheapest, safest, cleanest, fastest, most diverse, least visible, least understood and most neglected way to provide energy services.
How big is it? The 46% drop in U.S. energy intensity, a measure of energy consumption per dollar of real gross domestic product, during 1975-2005 represented, by 2005, the equivalent of a new energy “source.” This source was slightly larger than annual total European energy use, 2.1 times the size of U.S. oil consumption, 3.4 times bigger than U.S. net oil imports, six times domestic oil output or net oil imports from OPEC countries and 13 times net imports from Persian Gulf countries.
Three-fourths of U.S. electricity–69% of which is used in buildings, nearly all the rest in industry–can be saved for less than the price of just running a coal or nuclear plant. This “negawatt” potential is not just in smarter motors, lights, appliances, etc., but even more in their larger systems. For example, three-fifths of the world’s electricity runs motors, and half their shaft power runs pumps and fans. Designing friction out of pipes and ducts can save 10 times as much fuel at the power plant.” -Armory Lovins
“We can save our bottom lines, and maybe our butts, by taking economics–and efficiency–seriously.” -Armory Lovins
Physicist Amory B. Lovins has been a leading practitioner of advanced energy efficiency in buildings, vehicles and industry for over three decades. He is co-founder, chairman and chief scientist of the Rocky Mountain Institute, an independent, entrepreneurial, nonprofit think-and-do tank that implements transformational energy and resource efficiency, chiefly in the private sector.
Here is an excerpt from a CNN Money article about the near future of energy prices. This is a clear reason why solar, and specifically the REnU solar rental program from Citizenre will be even more attractive to consumers through cost savings.

U.S. sees 9.8% spike in ‘09 electric bills
Electricity forecast for 2009 is up sharply from last month; increase in price of natural gas a factor.
By Lara Moscrip, CNNMoney.com contributing writer, July 8, 2008
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Americans may face dramatically higher electric bills next year, according to a government report released Tuesday.
The U.S. Energy Information Administration forecast that electricity prices will climb an average of 9.8% in 2009. Only a month ago, the agency was forecasting a 3.6% increase for next year.
The excerpt below is just another confirmation of the move toward renewable and sustainable energy. It also speaks volumes to the shift in the attractive investment market in green technologies… specifically solar!
“Solar power grew most rapidly, attracting US $28.6 billion of new capital and growing at an average annual rate of 254% since 2004″

London, UK [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] July 3, 2008
Worries about climate change, support from world governments, rising oil prices and ever present energy security concerns combined to fuel another record-setting year of investment in the renewable energy and energy efficiency industries in 2007, according to an analysis issued by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Globally, more than US $148 billion in new funding entered the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors last year, up 60% from 2006, even as a credit crunch began to roil financial markets toward the end of the year. This is the finding of the report, Global Trends in Sustainable Energy Investment 2008, prepared by UK-based New Energy Finance for UNEP’s Paris-based Sustainable Energy Finance Initiative.
“The clean energy industry is maturing and its backers remain bullish. These findings should empower governments-both North and South-to reach a deep and meaningful new agreement by the crucial climate convention meeting in Copenhagen in late 2009,” said Achim Steiner, the head of UNEP.
This is a very interesting article that is addressing exactly the same issues we are facing here in the US with moving toward decentralized energy distribution. Note the bold text below. It is exactly what Rob, myself and others have been saying about decentralized renewable energy.
In-joy,

### Will Renewables Trump Nuclear in Ontario?
by Stephen Lacey, Staff Writer and Lily Riahi, Correspondent
Ontario, Canada [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] July 2, 2008
In Canada these days, it’s almost impossible to talk about renewable energy without talking about nuclear power. With the recent freezing of Ontario’s Renewable Energy Payment (REP) system and a proposal from the Ontario Power Authority (OPA) to procure 14,000 megawatts (MW) of nuclear power over the coming decades, many in the industry question whether politicians and regulators in the province are serious about developing renewable energy.
Now Ontario — considered Canada’s most progressive renewable energy market — has become a staging ground for a philosophical war over how to develop the future energy market. The battle cry from the renewable energy industry was sounded at the World Wind Energy Conference in Kingston, Ontario last week, as advocates and businesses called on the OPA and government officials to make distributed generation a priority over centralized generation.
To illustrate that nuclear does not have to play such a prominent role, OSEA has rolled out a Green Energy Act campaign to raise awareness about the possibility of Ontario meeting 100 percent of its electricity demand from renewable resources within the same time frame proposed in the recent IPSP. But only when renewables are made a priority over nuclear can the province achieve such an ambitious goal, say advocates of the Green Energy Act.
“The government priorities are a bit puzzling. You wonder why renewable energy acquisition is put on hold while at the same time big announcements are made about nuclear energy,” said CANREA’s Peters. “It’s a bit difficult to understand how the government can say that renewable energy is the cornerstone of a good policy, while at the same time make such big investments in nuclear.”
